Jasmeet’s got a history behind him. He’s been through quite a few residencies setting up new clubs as places people want to frequent. A complete entertainer, Jasmeet is a bundle of spontaneity & surprises; capable of creating any atmosphere desired for a party. A treat to watch perform, many an evening has been spent enjoying his music.
Over the past decade Bangalore has enjoyed Jasmeet’s performances at its many discs, parties and events. The man has brought cheer to many a crowd, lit up many a dance floor and given the city many events to remember. The beat continues and today Jasmeet moves across India – covering many cities and other parts of the globe too.
Jasmeet has had an illustrious career on the circuit:
Black Cadillac Pub, Bangalore Black Cadillac was one of the first pubs in Bangalore catering to the social elite of Bangalore. ‘Twas a place many of today’s movers & shakers partied in their younger years.
Jasmeet started his professional career here and in tune with the times, Jasmeet played those lovely tracks of the 80s and 90s. Here is where Jasmeet honed his ability to understand needs of his audience and parties. Fans still remember those days of the Black Cadillac with a fond “Wow, those were the days”.
Club Velvet, Bangalore Run by Encore Events, this was another of those happening places to party at. A high-end socialite club for around 100 weekends saw the numbers swell to around 300. Jasmeet has always had a good crowd following him to wherever he played.
FTV Bar & Club, Bangalore FBAR then came around with all the hype of FTV. Jasmeet again came in as the first DJ and lived up to the expectations. People came to associate FBAR with Jasmeet.
Given its popularity with the fairer sex, Jasmeet conceptualized "Ladies’ Night" for Wenesday and this became the trend across the city. A rocking place, FBAR came to be the ‘hot & must be at’ place that entry had to be contained after a certain point.
He was the Main Resident DJ here from 2002 through mid-2004.
Athena, Bangalore At the Leela Palace in Bangalore, Athena has come to be among the leading clubs in Bangalore. The first Mumbai club to start of in Bangalore, this place has been rocking ever since it started – with the most popular Bollywood remixes. Like most of his other residencies, Jasmeet was again the first DJ here and got it running with mixes of Bollywood numbers and House tracks. Entertaining Bangalore, Jasmeet also had many celebrities including the likes of Salman Khan, Mahima Chaudry and Zaheer Khan.

Jasmeet was here for a year as a Music Programmer, designing music for the entire resort and catering to an international audience from Germany, Japan & America. Here he played along with celebrity DJs like Paul Van Dyk for an audience including the likes of Hugh Grant and many supermodels. Jasmeet also designed music for swimsuit and fashion shows.
Jasmeet came back from the Maladives with rich experience and insights into the various international tastes and responses to music. He grew his collection of music to include the best of the best anthems & beats here.
Hint Lounge, Bangalore Returning to Bangalore, Jasmeet took up residency at the Hint Lounge – the latest in town then. The latest concept with a bar and a dance floor, the place had a packed audience almost daily. Jasmeet started this place with Electro which was the in thing of the time.
While Jasmeet has been affiliated to various institutions, he has also been actively engaged in Freelance performances – solo or with other in-house DJ residencies. He has performed at various corporate gatherings and other events.
Jasmeet plays for Desi Grooves on Radio One FM 94.3 making it Bangalore’s #1 Bollywood channel since July ’07. A new concept, he’s brought a lot of RJs on stage with him promoting the channel. It's the biggest Bollywood club night in Bangalore every Wednesday. Catch him spinning live at the hottest clubs in town.
